Ecologi | Water, water, everywhere?
One in nine people globally don’t have easy access to clean water: the vital life source we all rely upon to survive. Boreholes provide access to safe, clean water from underground, for so many of us globally.
“Holes as deep as 100m are drilled into the ground, and drilling pipes are installed. A hand pump is then fitted meaning that water can be pumped out by hand.”
Easy peasy. Sadly, many of the boreholes that so many communities once relied upon have fallen into disrepair, due to lack of funding and poor management. With the help of Ecologi, these boreholes are being brought back to life, a project that has also created lots of jobs for residents in Zoba Debub, Eritrea.

What’s your role here at grüum?
I look after Sales & Marketing, so my role is to try and get grüum in front of as many people as possible so they can discover what we’re all about. Whether that’s working with our Partnerships Team to help build brand collaborations, or our CRM Team to develop our community of loyal customers – anything to spread the good word of grüum!
What’s your favourite product and why?
Although I’m ‘stubbly’ I use our oska Razor for styling and detailing, as it’s perfect for those crisp edges. I also love our kyra Gentle Face Wash and oka Youth Restoring Serum – because who doesn’t want to try and turn back the clock?!
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
Maybe a Jaguar? They’re pretty cool, right? Kind of understated, powerful without needing to shout about it. And I like cats.
If you could go anywhere in the world and see anything during any time period, where would you go and why?
I’d love to give you a cultured answer with a defining moment in history. But honestly, the top of a mountain in the Alps in winter.

- Both of my parents are former international Badminton players.
- I am the reigning grüum Padel champion.

Here he is looking lovely all smothered in bunting at Beth’s wedding. Handsome, but no claim to fame. Sigh.
