Staff Spotlight | Beth
Q. Hey Beth. What’s your role here at grüum?
A. “As a co-founder, I’ve been involved in many aspects of grüum over the years. From building web pages, to designing product packaging, and even hand-pouring our first candles. Now that we have a team of much more talented people than me, I spend my days guiding and advising them as best I can. One of my favorite areas is still design and packaging. It’s always a huge pleasure to collaborate with our designer, Millie. Every day brings a new challenge, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see our ideas come to life.”
Q. What’s your favourite product and why?
A. “It’s really difficult to pick just one, because I use so many, daily… My ultimate “could-not-live-without” product would have to be our öka Clear Complexion Serum though. It keeps my blemishes at bay and provides an extra layer of hydration that my dry skin desperately needs. I generally top it off with some pür Daily Moisturiser and a little botanisk Prickly Pear Oil – that’s the icing on the cake for me.”
Q. What would be your specialist subject on a gameshow?
A. “Funnily enough my husband and I had this very conversation over the weekend. My specialist subject would be gauging millimeter measurements (under 30cm’s) by eye. “
Q. If you could go anywhere in the world and see anything, at any time – past, present or future – where would you go and why?
A. “Can I just relive my twenties? Ha”
….Absolutely. This needs no explanation.
Q. And finally, please tell us two truths and a lie about yourself…
A. “1. I made everyone dance to Kung Fu Fighting three times at my wedding
2. As a child I sang for Queen Elizabeth II.
3. My trusty rusty camper van is named ‘Alan’ after his previous owner, Alan Rickman.”
