Which is the best body exfoliator: bar, liquid, or cream?

Personally, we’re partial to our exfoliating soap bar. It’s incredibly effective at removing dead skin cells while also providing nourishment, thanks to its natural ingredients. 

But aside from how it performs, it’s much more convenient than a liquid or cream exfoliator. It’s completely plastic-free and even travel-friendly. You’ll also get a lot of scrubs out of one bar compared to the other options, so it really is a great all-rounder.

What is the difference between body scrubs & body exfoliators?

A body exfoliator works harder than a typical scrub. Instead of just removing dead skin cells, it also helps stimulate blood flow and boost cell regeneration. 

Scrubs are great for a quick exfoliation, but an exfoliator has better long-term benefits.

How often should I exfoliate my body?

Our luffa Body Scrub Bar is gentle enough for everyday use, but we’d recommend a proper good exfoliation one to three times a week.

How often should I use a hand scrub?

If you use your hands a lot of work or do physically demanding activities, we’d recommend using a hand exfoliator or scrub every day or every other day. 

If your hands are more sensitive, use it one to three times a week. Always follow up with a restoring and moisturising hand cream.

When should I exfoliate in my shower routine?

Exfoliate after washing your body with a body wash or soap bar. The body wash will remove any surface dirt or sweat, allowing the exfoliator to better penetrate and cleanse your skin. Finish your body care with a moisturiser to lock in the hydration and nourishment from your shower routine.
