Are your shave bars suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, both our Aloe Vera and Orange & Lavender shave bars are suitable for use on sensitive skin. We do recommend our når Shave Bar – Aloe Vera for more sensitive skin types, as the aloe vera will calm and hydrate the skin while shaving.

Can I use the shaving bar on my face?

Our shave bars can be used on both the face and body – it’s like a 2-in-1! Simply lather up the bar between hands and warm water or apply directly onto wet skin and massage onto the desired area before shaving.

Is a shaving bar, gel or oil better?

They’re all fantastic and effective options for shaving prep, and it just depends on your personal shave preference. Our shaving soap bar produces a lather, whereas our shave gel and oil do not. The shave oil is a great choice if you have particularly dry skin, as it provides extra hydration and a more smooth shave. The shave gel is perfect for precision shaving and all-round protection.

Do I need to exfoliate before shaving?

Not always, but exfoliating can be beneficial if you have an oily or dry skin type. Using a facial exfoliator or body scrub before shaving helps to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores, allowing for a closer shave. However, if your skin is already well hydrated and not prone to ingrown hairs or irritation, you may not need to exfoliate beforehand.
